ADA braille signs with top-to-bottom curve are a contemporary look for any office space. Each sign comes with a customizable insert to be placed behind the removable lens that can be personalized with 1/32" tactile (raised) text and braille.
Frames are available in black powder-coated aluminum or anodized satin silver aluminum with your choice of black or grey plastic end caps. A suction cup is sent with the signs to assist in removing the lens. Simply order a replacement lens with updated braille/tactile text or a new DuraSol insert without ordering a whole new sign in the future if information changes.
The insert is best thought of as a splash of color for your sign and the design should be kept simple (busy patterns do not comply with ADA regulations). ADA regulations require at least 60% contrast between the insert color and the tactile text. The standard tactile text colors offered are black or white. When choosing the tactile text color, be sure to select the color that offers the most contrast from your insert. Our layout artists will confirm this when designing your sign, and if the color combinations are not compliant, we will contact you.
